Oh Christmas tree...
One of my favorite days of the year is picking out a Christmas tree. We started going to this tree lot when we first moved back from Virginia, and it has become tradition. This year the kids had a blast getting lost in all the trees.

Well hello winter, please don't stay long.
Good thing we don't have any pets outside. The kids love eating the snow.
Somehow, Primary has become a part time job for me. I clock more hours than I'd like to admit doing things for this group of kids. This is a photo I took of all the little rug rats. We blew it up to poster size and displayed it for the big Primary Program.
I was so proud of Sean for actually saying his part in the microphone. Although he is always fine at practice, when it comes down to the big moment he has been known to chicken out. What a handsome little devil he was. What's our favorite thing to do no matter the season? SWIMMING! My kids love their weekly swimming lesson so much, I decided I'm going to keep them enrolled until I feel good about dropping them off at a pool by themselves. We may be going to the pool every week for years, but they love it and are turning into really good swimmers. They practice their "kicks, scoops, and hums" in the hot tub every night. Now they can take a few strokes and roll on their backs for a breath. Two thumbs up for SwimKids for teaching them so well.

Love that you have the tradition of picking out your tree every year. We ditched the real tree thing many years ago and some days I regret it, but then I remember how much I hated finding needles all over my house :) You are amazing at Primary :) Wish we lived close so that Drew could enjoy how creative you are :) Swim lessons are the best! I need to get Drew back in them during the Winter season, thanks for the reminder. Love your updates!
aw, I want a tree! that's the only bummer about going out of town for Thanksgiving - you can't get a tree the next day! good job on all your primary stuff - so cute, and what good little swimmers!
