Ready for blast off!

Our newest past time activity with Grandpa Lyle is launching rockets. These are not your average toys. This blue one goes 1100 feet in the air and is almost impossible to find after it is launched. We did recover it twice before it must have entered orbit and was gone forever.

We brought along our house guests, Dan, Rachel, Jack, and Jane to enjoy a show.

Grandpa has also mastered the technique of flying remote control airplanes and helicopters. He is trying to teach Sean, but has to order parts ever time Sean gets a hold of the remote.
