It's my party...

I'm a little slow to get Kate's birthday pictures up, but better late than never. This was on Kate's actual birthday. I took her shopping and let her pick out her very first doll. I can't believe I haven't gotten her one yet, but she was so excited and loves her baby. It only took her a couple of days to be able to say "baby." I love seeing my little doll baby with her very own baby doll.

My Grandma Elayne came all the way from Cedar City for the big 1st birthday. We all loved having her stay at our house. The first thing out of Sean's mouth every morning was "let's go find Grandma Primmer." Aunt Jess came too and stayed for a whole 5 days. This was a huge treat since her last few visits have been 24 hours or less.

Here's Kate guarding all of her presents from Sean.

I decided to invite just the Grandmas and Grandpas this time so there wouldn't be so much chaos for her first party. It turned out so fun. She is so lucky to have so many wonderful grandparents that all love her so much. There was Grandma Pearlie, Grandma Primmer, Grandma MoDebbie, Grandma Chris, Grandpa Lyle, and Grandpa Clark.

Kate loves soft clothes. Here she is with two super soft coats that Aunt Em and Grandma Primmer gave her. I feel so bad I don't have any photos of Aunt Em. She took all of these cute pictures and we didn't get a single one with her.

I got Kate a mini spring horse since she loves Sean's big one so much.

Grandma Chris got Kate this darling chair. She sits in it everyday. It's just her size.

Kate was not amused by the smash cake. She's not a fan of being dirty. Guess that's the girl in her.

Her first birthday was a hit and wore her right out. She fell asleep in Grandma Chris' arms and was out for the night.

Aunt Jess took a turn holding sleeping beauty.

Sean even got a few gitfs. This video is of a crazy car Grandma Primmer brought for him. Unfortunately it has not gotten old yet. I'm pretty sure this is the most annoying toy we own, which is probably why Sean gets such a kick out of it. Today he threw it down the stairs and since there is a baby gate at the top he couldn't go get it. No worries, it went back and forth at the bottom of the stairs until the batteries ran out providing entertainment for both of them for many minutes. Thanks Grandma!
