"Toots in Uranus"

This is Kate in her fairy outfit. She was super cute this day and let me do her hair and paint her toenails. I tried to get her to wear fancy shoes, but one thing Kate always picks out herself is her shoes. Guess I should be happy it was her Keens and not her snow boots.

She seriously was just as cute from the back as she was the front, so I had to post all the angles of this little doll.

Her hair is finally long enough for a pony tail which is great since she always rips out one of her pig tails right away. I think this one lasted at least an hour which is a record for her.

I can't believe she is 16 months and I've never painted her toes. I always imagined paint all over the carpet and clothes, but I was quite surprised how still she was, and she even sat on the tile until they were dry. Must be something programed in the X chromosome.

My little genius boy. I really can't believe how smart this kid is. He already knows more about space than I do and is always telling me about galaxies and nebulas. I think he has a little help from Dada, but the boy is a sponge and never forgets a thing, which leads us to a phrase I wish he'd forget..."toots in Uranus." Thanks a lot Dada. I hope he forgets that by the time they teach him the planets at school.

I made the mistake of asking Sean if he wanted to go to church with Mom or stay home with Dad, trying to get him to hurry and get ready. He always says he wants to go to primary, so I really didn't think he'd stay home with Randy. But this day I was wrong and being the awesome dad Randy is, he took him to the planetarium. They had a ball and Sean couldn't stop talking about it the whole day. Guess I won't be asking him that question again! Now he keeps asking if he can go to the city and see the planets.

This video is of Sean looking through the book of stars and planets. Randy and Sean have been very into space since I got them a telescope for Christmas. If you listen closely you can hear Sean's favorite new naughty phrase "toots in Uranus." At least he has the planet right.

I am laughing so hard right now. What a little cutie. That phrase is hilarious. Dad's are always the ones to teach there little boys the silly stuff. Too cute. Love your little princess, she is just darling, I cannot believe how big she is getting. Time sure does fly :)
