Everything really IS bigger in Texas.
Is it our turn for some fun yet? I think so. Now that summer is over, we planned our "vacation" to Aunt Jess's house. I always have zero expectations when taking the kids anywhere. I usually just hope we all survive. We were pleasantly surprised with a totally fun trip. The kids were as excited as I was to just get out of our house for a few days. No one likes blasting off on an airplane more than Sean and Kate.

Apparently bigger is better if you live in Texas.
Sean entertained us with some Michael Jackson moves.
This was the coolest aquarium we've ever been to. We just happened to come on the Shark Adventure exhibit. Lucky us!
If there's water and fish, Sean is a fan.
What the what?!! A gigantic white tiger in the middle of the aquarium. You can't even find a white tiger at a zoo. Nice surprise!!
Then the cherry on the top! We got to go for a train ride in a tunnel of sharks. This isn't the greatest picture, but they had the craziest chain saw shark swimming over our heads.
I wish you could feel how hot it was there. I have never felt humidity like that even living in Virginia. We parted the air for a carousel ride before hitting the road. I somehow managed to leave the gift store without buying Kate a shirt, so she had to wear Sean's shirt for the rest of the day.
In the middle of our fabulous trip, Jessica's stores got robbed. You can see her in the background trying to buy new cash registers. She may not go to work much, but she works all day from her phone. What a good little business woman.
Okay, this picture does not do this rig justice. The hood of this truck is taller than my head. I don't know how you would even begin to park this bad boy, but we sure had a good time on the boat!! Uncle Nick has lost his mind. I was sure there is nothing left you could possible buy to pimp this ride, but nope, the day we left nick had the hood up and lots of "parts" he was adding.
Jessica asked us if we wanted to take a boat ride across the lake and get lunch. Seriously??!! You have to ask? I can't think of anything that sounds more fabulous.
Captain Nick.
Skipper Jess showing off her skills. Little did we know she was faking it, and really has only driven a boat a few times.
I was brave enough to take the kids on the tube. They had a blast, and Nick was an excellent driver. No one fell off... until that is he tried to kill me and Michelle. My shoulders still hurt a little. :)

ok, your Texas blog was way better than mine. I'll have to link to yours. I forgot to put in the Nick rig pics... fun times. Miss those stinkers (yours too.)
Looks like so much fun! Your kids are so cute, they look excited in every one of those pics :)
Is that Houston?!?! You should have called me! I seem to sort of remember you telling me you had family here. Anyway, call me next time!
