Disney on Ice

This could not be more out of order.  Since I just finished up April posts, guess I'll go back to March.  About half of our family's b-days are in March.  We decided to have a monster party and the Chapmans and my Grandma Primmer made the trip to celebrate.  It was quite a day!  We started the morning by going to Disney's Toy Story on Ice.  The kids were in heaven.  Toy story is by far their favorite Disney movie and characters.  Apparently my Grandma Primmer really likes ice capades too.  Who knew?

Of course the grandmas bought everyone new toys before it began.  (It's a good thing too, because we don't have ANY Toy Story toys!  This is Sean's 5th Buzz Lightyear.)

This is Kate's 3rd Jesse.  :)

I was pretty impressed with this show.  They didn't leave anything out.  I think my favorite part was all the barbies though.  Sean loved when Zurg came out and shot his ion blaster directly at Sean.  We were so close you could even feel the heat from the flame!  Kate spent the entire time waving at every character that came by.  We were on the 4th row, so she really thought they were waving to her.

If that wasn't enough fun, I hired a magician to come to the b-day party that night.

He was an awesome magician with all the bells and whistles.  He even pulled a bunny out of his hat.

I like how all the tricks were for kids, but all the jokes were for adults.  Totally entertaining for all.

We blew out the candles to celebrate Jess, Grandma, Hattie, & Grace's birthdays.

What can I say except that I throw super cool parties!  Yee haw.  It is a little unusual to go to this much trouble for a party that doesn't even involve your own kid's birthday, but I figured they came all this way to celebrate with us, so I wanted to give them something special.

We finished out the week with a little Taylor Swift karaoke, trips to the zoo, lots of hot tubbing, and playing in Grandma's backyard.

You kids are SPOILED ROTTEN!!  If I had a dime for every time I heard that growing up.
