Rewind

Who wants to blog about Easter in June?  I sure don't, but my type A personality won't allow me to just skip a holiday on the blog.  It's kind of like not doing your homework.  I never skipped an assignment my whole life...ever.  I may have rushed or done sloppy work a time or two, but was never unprepared to turn something in.  So, here's the Easter pictures to prove we had Easter this year.  I'm sure there were stories I should write about, but this will have to do.

Here are most of the cousins.  Every year my kids hardly get any eggs.  This year I filled 250 eggs hoping the odds were that my kids would at least get 10.  Nope I think they each got 4.  The rules are going to change next year...

At least Sean go the golden egg that he filled and hid himself.  I was a little worried someone would find it and I'd have to take it away from them.  There were enough gold eggs for everyone to find one, and a silver egg with $5 in it.

Kate had a little tea party with her babies after everyone FINALLY left.  Yes, we had stragglers there 5 hours after the party started.  I don't think I've ever stayed at a party for 5 hours.  Guess my parties are just so awesome that no one wants to leave. ;)

Easter Morning

The kids were pretty much over hunting for eggs.  They didn't even pick up any of the candy the Easter Bunny spent so much time hiding!  Kate got her "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" movie and a cute Belle doll.

I love her hair in the morning.  It is so crazy!

Back to bed for Kate.  She HATES getting up early.

Sean finally got the Papa Smurf he has been eyeing at the toy store.  He couldn't believe the Easter Bunny knew he wanted it.  He kept saying, "How did that Easter bunny know I like Papa?"  He has slept with him (and Clumsy) every night since Easter.  

I usually have high hopes of getting cute pictures of us in Easter outfits, but of course Sean put up a fight and wouldn't even go to church.  Guess that cute pink tie I bought him will have to wait until next year.
