It's a major award!!

About a year and a half ago, Randy decided he deserved a sweet ride.  He picked one so sweet that they don't even make them, you have to order one.  Not only do you have to order it, you have to get on a waiting list to order one.  Really?  Does it go into orbit?  Does it make you coffee?  Whatever, I figured it would be a long enough process that he may lose interest or get something else.  Nope, about six months after "waiting" he was able to fill out his order form.  That was last February.  Then they had to wait till July to submit the order.  OMG is this for real?  So after they ordered it they said it would be here in August.  I had a feeling that it was going to be longer than that, so I still wasn't worried.  In August they emailed him that it would be here in Jan 2013.  Good, we can get through Christmas and then figure out what we're going to do about getting the major award.  Well,  2 weeks before Christmas he got a call that the car was in NY.  What the crap?  My mom was going to buy the Subaru, so I gave her a heart attack and told her she needed to pony up!  Not really, but she did anyway.  The weekend before Christmas Randy got to pick up his baby.  Merry Christmas to him!  ....and Happy Valentines day, Happy 40th Birthday, Happy 15th Anniversary...  Pretty much any holiday that I'm expected to produce a gift this year, I'm going to refer him to the garage.
