November 2012
I'm so far behind on everything, especially the blog. I'm going to have to catch up big time. But for now, I'm getting the Christmas stuff up before I can't remember anything anymore. Since Christmas preparations start in November, I guess I'll start there.
First up, the primary program. Since it's pretty much the only Sunday of the year that I brave sacrament meeting, it's worth a couple pictures. Sean and Kate were so cute. They both said their parts, which was a miracle, and they entertained everyone by dancing to every song. This was my last Sunday as Primary Secretary... sad. I've been the secretary for about 8 years, and I loved it. Leave it to the men in the ward to go screw everything up. If women ran the show everyone would be so much happier. Someone needs to get that fixed.
Next up, Thanksgiving. We went to Jessica's house for a little snack before our real dinner at Grandma Chris' house. Kate took care of all the carrots.
I tried to get some candids of Jessica's belly. It was so funny looking. Instead of looking like a basketball was in her shirt, it was looking like she had a football. There was a definite point to it. Hehe.
I finally got a good one. Her legs are so skinny, they disappear. That baby has got to be running out of room!
Mo Deb doing what she does best. Thanks for the yummy food!
Sean had a good time hanging out with the guys.
On to Grandma's house. I'm not sure why I only have 1 photo of the actually Thanksgiving. At least I got one with the kid's favorite Barnhisel.
The day after Thanksgiving is our day to decorate so that Fisbee the Elf can come. He comes the day after we put up our tree. This year he had a big surprise for us. He brought his little sister!!
Kate named her Hart, and she is adorable. She snuck in Kate's preschool bag and went to show and tell. The kids love the Elves more than anything at Christmas time. They were trying not to be sad on Christmas Eve when they knew they would be going home to the North Pole for the year. They must have said good bye to them 10 times before they went to bed. I love the magic of Christmas. I hope my kids believe in Santa forever. It is such a fun time for little ones...and even more fun for mommies!

Fisbee has a little sister! That's way cool. Our elf, Red, brought his "friend", Candy. The kids wanted to know if she was his girlfriend or just his girl friend. hahaha... bringing his little sister would have been much easier ;)
