The most exhausting, uh I mean magical place on earth.

After many weeks of counting the days till Disneyland, it was finally time to blast off to the magic kingdom. These two are not into roughing it. An hour and 15 minute flight watching Toy Story was perfect. There is no way we would ever survive driving!

It took Sean about 5 minutes after we got to the hotel to find a gift shop and buy some new jammies. Most kids want to go to Disneyland for the rides, Sean was counting on the shopping.

Our little balcony that overlooked California Adventure park.

We got up ridiculously early the next day and was at breakfast by 7:30. We were about the first people at Goofy's kitchen. I love taking the kids to character breakfasts. They have a buffet of everything kids could dream of eating. I think Sean had chicken nuggets and gummy worms, and Kate ate at least 6 plates of strawberries. Not such a great idea- about the time we were all settled down to watch Captain EO, the strawberries got revenge. Kate started screaming that she had to go potty. After a huge scene, they finally let us out of the theater. Only one of many painful moments!

The forecast was supposed to be rain all 4 days. I bought us all rain gear so we could still get out. Much to our surprise it was clear and sunny every day. We had more fun at the pool than anywhere. The kids got to try out their new swimming skills in a real setting.

I had to antique these photos because my legs are so white, they will blind you!

The character breakfast at our hotel had all the bears and Chip and Dale.

I think this bear wanted to take the kids home.

Katie and I got to do some little kid rides while Randy and Sean got to go on the big kid ride.

It's a Small World- still one of my favorites. It funny how bad the special effects are. I remember it being so much cooler when I was a kid.

This was our spot every morning to camp out and wait for the Disney store to open. We were the first ones in the store every day. I told Sean he could get one thing each day so that they whole day wouldn't be wasted on tantrums about what he wanted to buy. We managed to get the shopping done early and enjoy the rides the rest of the day.

I love the kids at the fountain. I don't know why it is so much fun to throw money in water, but it is and always will be.

Although, I tend to remember the melt downs, stomach aches, and back pain the most of this trip, there were a few magical moments that truly did bring pure joy. One of them was picking out their ears and watching the cute little stinkers walk through the gates of Disneyland.

Goodbye Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. We probably won't see you again for a few years, or at least until everyone is big enough that I don't have to carry someone the entire day.

Sean and Kate's first roller coaster. Kate was big enough by about a millimeter to go on this ride.

Love Randy's roller coaster video! See, when you put a trip on the blog it always looks like you had a super fun time, even if you had more tantrums than magical moments :) Thanks for antiquing your legs for our viewing comfort too.
