First day of school!

Sean started 2nd grade this year.   He has Mrs. Hardy for a teacher, and a bunch of his friends are in his class.  I am the room mother again, and I also teach his art class and author class.   Second grade may kill both of us.  Sean is such a sweetheart and is so kind to everyone.  I love that he's not one of the naughty or gross boys.

Kate missed the kindergarten cut off, so off to preschool again for her.  She totally hates it.  She's ready for real school.  She could easily skip to second grade and be fine.  She even helps Sean with his math. Every time I try to teach him math it goes right over his head and into Kate's ears.  School will be a breeze for her, it will be the friends that kill me.  I'm sure she'll be reduced to tears daily because someone won't do what she wants them to.  Kate's just a little bit bossy.  :)  She's the cutest little school girl though!
