Dance Recital "The Wizard of Oz"

I think May was invented to try to kill off the weak moms.  We started the month with our dance recital week.  It begins with 4 hour practices every day, then a 5 hour dress rehearsal, then not one, but 3 dance recitals.  It is killer.  I can't believe my kids did all of it. 

This year was "The Wizard of Oz."  It was complete with the entire cast of the entire movie.  Sean was a flying monkey, and Kate was...we're not exactly sure...pretty flower maybe?

I have a lot of fun getting her all dolled up with full makeup and hair.  Randy hates when she looks like this.  I think she is adorable.

I love this little pile of girls.

 Sean was the only boy in his class this year.  He was so sick of the whiny girls by the end.  After spending all the time at the rehearsals with them, I'll admit, I came close to pulling some hair too.

Doesn't look like he's going to have any problems with the ladies.  :)  He was the only boy allowed in the girls locker room.

Kate went and bought a flower for Sean on the last show.

Sometimes I feel bad Kate doesn't have a sister and Sean doesn't have a brother, but then there are days like this where I know they will always be best friends.  Love theses little stinkers.

 I spent the entire time backstage helping.  This was my view of the show.

Since video taping is "strictly prohibited,"  I filmed the dress rehearsal.
