My little Swifties!
I'm not sure how we got hooked on Taylor Swift, but the kids just love her. If you've been in my car ever, you know that Taylor is pretty much your only option for music. Then last year Michelle's kids came and reinforced the obsession. Anyway, we found out she was coming this year and got ready to buy tickets. I joined the fan club and was on the computer the minute the clocked turned 10am. I got tickets in the lower bowl which was pretty much a miracle, as the entire 14,000 seats sold out in 3 minutes during the presale. My tickets that I paid $100 each for sold for $650 each the very next day. Wish I would have bought more!
That was in December, so there was a 6 month count down until the concert in June. The kids asked pretty much every day how many days were left until Taylor. They have never been to a real concert with a performer that they knew every word to every song, so this was pretty exciting.
When we got there, we were met by the craziest fans I've ever seen...and I've been to my fair share of crazy concerts. The noise was unreal. I joined the madness and waited in line for an hour for 2 glow wands and bracelets. You're welcome kids!
Sean and Kate were so excited for the show to start!
Randy decided he wanted to come since he knew how excited the kids were. I think I may have seen one other dad there. :)
Taylor did not disappoint! She is one talented little lady. I was blown away with how many costume changes and original stage ideas she had. It was one of the best concerts I've been to. I loved watching the kids sing to every song. I have such cute videos of them singing with her. I wish I had a video of me singing all the wrong words at my first Tiffany concert. Kate probably won't even remember she saw this show, but it will be fun to show her the video when she gets older.
Unfortunately, concerts are not made for the little ones. By 10:30 Kate was crashing and Sean was asking how much longer it was going to be until it was over. I got on my phone and found the play list to see how many more songs were left. When I found out we had 3 left I decided to take the tired little stinkers home and beat the traffic and all the crazy crowds that were sure to add an hour on to the drive. I figured Michelle could fill me in on the details of the last songs since she would be going to the show tomorrow in Denver!

Yay for Taylor! I still can't believe you left before the end. No, wait, I can believe it. Next time I'm buying as many tickets as the computer will let me. Holy crap! You did have good seats though. Nice.
