Winter Wonderland

 We decided this was the year that we were going to start the kids skiing. First stop, swing by the Sports Den and have Uncle Mike deck the kids out in awesome snow gear!

We put them in ski school at Brighton. It was seriously a treat for us. I'm not the biggest fan of skiing, but it was fun to hang out with Randy all day with no kids. The best part was hanging out in the lodge with good food. The kids did great and had so much fun.

I think this was our 2nd or 3rd time skiing with them. Kate is hilarious. She just picks a line and skis straight down the mountain. She doesn't care how fast she's going or how tired she gets, she just keeps going till there's no more mountain. Sean, on the other hand, takes after his mama. He gets nervous when he goes too fast and sits down. Getting him back up is a serious work out. They both have fun though and are doing great. Next year we'll get serious about it...

I also realized we've never taken them ice skating. There is a cool new rink by the U that was pretty fun.
