4th of July
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

We were so excited to kick off the weekend at Park City with our good friends, Eric & Tiffany. We checked in to the Marriott by the Alpine Slides and got all cozy. The first thing Sean does every time we stay in a hotel is check out how comfy the bed is. This one passed the test.
Our kids were so excited to have friends to play with. Kate referred to them as "the kids" the entire time. They sure are cute, fun kids. I wished they lived here so we could play more often.
We took the kids on the coaster. Sean liked it fast, while Kate screamed for me to go "even slower" the whole time. We did all the baby rides too. We were the only ones in line for these, so the kids kept the poor lady running them pretty busy.
We did the Alpine slide once in the morning, and had so much fun we decided to go again. It was all smiles on the way up the mountain. If only we knew what was to come.
I was watching Sean and Randy come down and noticed Sean didn't look right. There was no smiles and he was holding his head. Then I saw the blood. Apparently Dada was going too fast and crashed the sled. They were both covered in road rash, Randy lost his shoe, and Sean nearly got his ear ripped off. This must happen a lot because there was a line at the medic station at the bottom. The first aid guy said we needed to go get stitches, and I nearly lost my mind. Last year we stayed at the other Marriott and Sean split his chin open and got 17 stitches. I just could not put him through it again. After a closer inspection of the cut, we decided to take our chances and bandage him up. Poor little dude.
The next day was the 4th. We got up and got dressed in our patriotic best. I love their 4th outfits more than Christmas or Easter.
Waiting for the parade to start and blowing her new pinwheel.
Sean's wound was still a little too fresh to not have a bandage on it. He looks so beat up in these photos.

The Millcreek Lion. Sean's favorite part of the parade every year. You can see Sean's little hand on the left of the photo waving to him. I'm so glad the lion saw him!!

ok, Kate's 4th of July outfit is the cutest thing I've ever seen. What a doll. Glad you guys had fun despite the alpine wreck. Poor Seaners!
Poor Sean! Hope he is doing better. And I love their outfits! It makes me realize how unpatriotic I am since it didn't even occur to me to dress Kate up.
