Kate turns 5!

I can't believe my baby turned 5! We started her birthday off with a few gifts from the family. She got a princess Sofia doll from Sean, and iPod from Mom and Dad, a cute sunflower baby from Harriet, and a Hello Kitty lego van from Grace. So far, we have a very happy birthday girl!

 She had her birthday spotlight in school, where I come and bring a bunch of pictures of her and tell the class all about her.

After all of the excitement, she needed a little cat nap with Sunflowers.

Grandma and Grandpa got her the doll she's been wanting FOREVER. You know the Baby Alive that eats, drinks, pees, and poops. Who wouldn't want that doll?

We got the bodily functions going right away! The diapers for this doll are more expensive than real baby diapers. We've gone through several packages. 

 For her birthday dinner, she chose to go to the Cheesecake Factory. Not because she likes the food, but because she loves the strawberry cheesecake. Smart girl.

She made short work out of this cake. Happy Birthday Kate!!! Next up, the real fun begins at her Princess Birthday party!
