The most magical place on earth.
With Sean's DVD player and a case of Little Einsteins, we blasted off to Disneyland.
Who needs rides when there are dozens of fountains to throw money in.
The character breakfasts were worth every cent. I think that is the first meal Randy
and I have both enjoyed at the same time with Sean. Sean was entertained by Goofy, Chip & Dale, Brother Bear, Pluto and many others I didn't quite recognize. I'd probably charge $60 for scramble eggs too if I had to entertain hundreds of kids.
We lucked out on weather this time. Last year we went to California in May and it rained the whole time. This year we went in February and it was 70 degrees and sunny. We even got to go swimming in the beautiful pool. Try not to be too blinded by my white skin. Check out the video at the bottom of the blog of Sean's first water slide.
OK, I thought a nice Ferris Wheel ride would be a great way to ease into Disneyland. All I can say is they should have a sign on that thing that says no pregnant ladies allowed! If you look closely, the baskets are on these huge loops, so when the wheel turns, it drops you out of the sky and swings so hard you're sure you're going to fall out. Dada thought it was great, Sean and Mama weren't so convinced!
This may be the only vacation where everyone was happy the whole time. Disneyland truly is the most magical place on earth... even if you are 8 weeks pregnant and sick as a dog!

Congrats on being pregnant! Disneyland looks like fun. I can't wait until Kate is old enough to go.
Hurray a new post!
Congrats on the pregnancy, you have the cutest kid already, so I am sure this one will be just as cute!
I am glad to see that Disneyland is doable with kids that age. I still can't imagine taking Drew just yet!
Glad you had a ton of fun and that it was enjoyable for the whole family.
Steph Newren Postma!
Yah! New pictures! I love love love Disneyland and nobody ever wants to go with me so I can't wait till Jack is a little older! It looks like so much fun and I could tell that Sean was having a blast! Hope your feeling better...lets get together.
Pregnant??? Why didn't you tell me. I had no idea. I hope you start feeling better. Morning Sickness sucks.
But, Disneyland is awesome! I love all your pics. We took our fam to the magical kingdom in February also. But, it for sure wasn't the the same time because we were rained on half the time. We also went to a character dinner with the princesses though. Claire was excited and AJ was in heaven.
